Anchoring
"I find it a remarkably enjoyable task to approach each story with a fresh
angle - a way to make it tangibly relatable to a viewer. To that end, I've
sought out such un-touched stories such as Surfers bringing peace to the
Middle-East; how today's children perceive terrorist acts on U.S. soil; a
mother's grief just moments after her daughter's death at the hands of
police. Life is full of emotion. Journalism should include that emotion within
an accurately communicated piece."

"Broadcast journalism requires so many elements of expertise: writing to
video and natural sound; editing; a strong grasp of not only current
events, but also an accurate historical perspective; and the ability to
communicate complex information in both an understandable and
intriguing manner. Not a day goes by where I don't appreciate and respect
this craft."
